Buttermilk Biscuits - an Old Family Favorite!

I wanted to share this with you - it is one of my favorite recipes. My mom made these often, and the family would get so excited when we saw her mixing the ingredients. They are heavenly with butter and/or jelly!

Old Family Recipe - Buttermilk Waffles!

These waffle are absolutely heavenly. This recipe has been in my family for a long, long time, and you are very lucky I am sharing this {wink}. I use a Belgian Waffle Iron for the best results, and I top with melted butter and syrup, or even whipped cream and strawberries! The picture below (in recipe card) shows my daughters favorite toppings - peanut butter and syrup.

NOTE: MAKE SURE WAFFLE IRON IS VERY HOT!! I asked my daughter to plug in our waffle iron to get it warmed up, and she plugged it in and immediately put batter in it before it was thoroughly heated - here were the results:



Note: She was TRYING to do the right thing!
