fallfestival

Today's featured company:
Aequare Fine Chocolates!

Today I would like to introduce you to Aequare Fine Chocolates.

Aequare's line of fine chocolates comes from Ecuador - where the cocoa for it's full body and deep chocolate flavor.  Aequare uses no artificial flavors or preservatives. They use only the finest grade of beans in all of their chocolate products, and are the only company bringing this exclusive Arriba fine flavor chocolate to the United States market.  Aequare carries a variety of chocolate products including their chocolate assortments in beautiful boxes, and candy bars.

A little about Aequare and it's chef from their website:
Jeffrey Stern, originally from Southern California, dreamt of opening a chocolate business in Ecuador several years ago. He saw the potential for locally produced artisan chocolates using Ecuadorian cacao, prized worldwide for its full body, floral aroma, and deep chocolate flavor.

Aequare Fine Chocolates is the culmination of years of preparation, talent, and experience. After training in French culinary techniques in the United States and working several years in the restaurant and chocolate industry, Jeff relocated to Ecuador to open Aequare Chocolates. After months of importing equipment, researching and tasting chocolates from various producers throughout the country, and sourcing the finest local ingredients, Aequare Chocolates launched its unparalleled line of artisan chocolates.

In a previous lifetime, Jeff worked in international development programs in Chile, Colombia, Ecuador, and Nicaragua, in the areas of health, population, and housing policy. His knowledge of the country and customs allows Aequare Chocolates to work closely with local producers, cocoa growers, and cocoa processors to source the finest local products.
You can purchase Aequare Fine Chocolates online, and if you'd like to give them as a gift, you also have the option of purchasing a gift certificate!

Thanks to the nice people at Aequare, you also have a chance to win right here!
